Summary
Akira Mado and Koutarou Amon visit the CCG Lab. Dr. Chigyou provides a new quinque for Akira. He is still operating on Amon's Doujima.
They visit the graveyard. Akira mentions the two owls. One is known as X-owl and the other is the non-killing owl. Her parents worked in the 24th Ward Investigation Team. Unfortunately, Kasuka Mado was slaughtered by the One-Eyed Owl. Akira promises to avenge her father by killing the One-Eyed Owl in this mission.
Amon advises her not to act recklessly. Akira grabs his tie and attempts to kiss him but he refuses.
Ken Kaneki eavesdrops on two CCG investigators talking about the Owl Suppression Operation. They mention how many people died during the last battle ten years ago and wonder who will succeed in killing the Owl in this battle.
