Ryuuta Sawaike (沢池 竜太, Sawaike Ryūta) was a Rank 1 Ghoul Investigator. He participated in the Auction Mopping-up Operation as a member of the Atou Squad under Daisuke Atou.

His head was ripped off by Seidou Takizawa.[2]

Appearance[]

Ryuta is shown as a man with a long face and large lips like Nobu Shimoguchi's. Her short dark hair is cut into a bowl, and round glasses are worn on the bridge of her nose. Like the rest of the investigators, Ryuta wore a white cape and a dark suit.

He had round-cut hair and wore glasses, his face was oval. Like other researchers, he wore a formal suit.

Personality[]

Little is known about Ryota's personality as his personality has not been fully revealed. His intemperance is known: seeing the death of his commander, he opens fire on the killer, attracting his attention. This is what causes his death.

Little is known about his personality, but it is known that he unconsciously does extreme things, for example, when he sees the death of his superior he begins to attack the ghoul who murdered him and ends up dying because of it.

Plot[]

As part of the advance squads, Ryuta, being a member of the Ato squad, appears during the operation to clear the auction along with Ooshiba's group and a team of quinxes. During the battle, he, along with the rest of Ato's squad, engages a skinhead ghoul wielding a massive koukaku kagune. After the enemy was defeated, Ryuta witnesses the death of his superior, Daisuke Ato, at the hands of an unknown black-robed ghoul. After that, he, unable to withstand and desperately shooting at the enemy, becomes his victim himself.
