Manga[]

Spin-off manga by Ishida. Takes place in an alternate universe where the characters are high school students and teachers. It was discontinued after 25 parts and the story is spread between a web version and a book version (given out with vol. 8?).

Brief spin-off comic strips and one-off panels depicting the chibi versions of the characters as Joypolis park employees. They're available on Maki Higashiyama's twitter.

A collection of four stories mostly revolving around Tsukiyama. The CD was recorded by the anime voice actors and the drafts were drawn by Ishida. They were included in Young Jump issue 2015-12 (Re: Chapter 17).

  1. Tsukiyama tells a scary story to the Kaneki Gang which no one understands.
  2. Tsukiyama visits Helter Skelter and gets shitfaced drunk.
  3. Tsukiyama visits Anteiku and tries to tell a riddle.
  4. Banjou hosts a quiz show.
  • Kaneki's Surprise Birthday

Yoshimura planned to throw Kaneki a surprise birthday party, but a ghoul attacked Anteiku while he was out. Tsukiyama arrived blindfolded thinking it was a "surprise tasting party" and killed the ghoul before trying to "taste" Kaneki. It was originally an interactive attraction at Jump Fest 2015 where the listener was a "guest" at Anteiku who the characters interacted with. It was included with DVD&BD vol.5.

Other[]

Radio show hosted by Natsuki Hanae (Kaneki’s VA) and Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Hide’s VA) which aired on nicovideo.jp. It ended after 18 episodes and the content has since been pulled from the website.

Attractions and Events[]

Escape event held from January 25, 2015 through January 31, 2015. Participants are trapped on a floor and try to solve mysteries and puzzles to escape. It was held in Animate in Ikebukuro.

A Tokyo Ghoul themed cafe held at Animate Cafe (Nagoya location). It was originally set to run from January 31st, 2015 through February 22nd, 2015, but was extended from February 17th, 2015 through April 13th, 2015. The menu offered exclusive foods and drinks inspired by the series.

A Tokyo Ghoul themed cafe was held at Pasela Resorts from May 13th, 2015 through June, 2015. The menu offered exclusive foods and drinks inspired by the series.

Themed restaurants held from July 14th, 2015 through October 25th, 2015. Like Pasela, RESTAURANT provided an exclusive menu inspired by the series. It had three location in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka.

Early screening of Tokyo Ghoul: Jack (OVA) held on September 12, 2015. A limited number of people were allowed early access to view Tokyo Ghoul: Jack. Several of the voice actors attended.

Launch event held from September 19, 2015 through September 27, 2015 in Kotobukiya, Akihabara branch to commemorate Kotobukiya's ARTFX J Kaneki Lab AWAKENED ver. figure. The event sold exclusive goods and food.

Event held from September 26, 2015 through October 12, 2015 at P’PARCO to commemorate the Tokyo Ghoul: Jack (OVA). The event sold exclusive goods.

Attraction at the amusement park, Joypolis in the Tokyo branch. It ran from October 22nd, 2015 through September 30th, 2016.

Themed cafe held at Ikebukuro Parco from May 27, 2017 through June 28th, 2017 to promote the film. The menu offered exclusive food and drinks inspired by the series. Visitors can purchase limited-edition goods and have their photos taken while wearing a replica of Kaneki's mask when they order Kaneki's Eye Curry. starting on May 31st the cafe hosted an exhibit on costumes from the film.

Yearly event held by Shueisha. Tokyo Ghoul has had a both at the event for the past several years to celebrate the series and make announcements.
